Dr. Anil Kumar Singh is currently Editor in Chief of ITEF International Journal of Geographical Research. Dr. Anil Kumar Singh is a distinguished geographer of Jharkhand and Bihar, widely recognized for his significant contributions to the discipline of geography in India. He is the founding figure of the Department of Geography at Binod Bihari Mahto Koylanchal University, Dhanbad, where he served as the Head of Department until his retirement. Under his visionary leadership, the department flourished academically and became a hub for geographic research and higher learning in the region. Dr. Singh’s academic oeuvre encompasses numerous scholarly publications in reputed journals, reflecting his depth of knowledge and research acumen. He has also played a pivotal role in organizing several national and international conferences, fostering academic discourse and collaboration among geographers and allied scholars. A life member of both the Association of Geographers Bihar and Jharkhand, and the National Geographical Association of India, he remains deeply engaged with professional academic bodies. Throughout his career, Dr. Singh has supervised numerous doctoral scholars, contributing to the growth of future researchers in the field. His current research focuses on Educational Geography and the Geography of Education, where he continues to explore the spatial dimensions of educational access, equity, and development.
